Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 July 2026
The short version
Use the calculators freely for your own planning. They produce estimates, not offers. We are not a lender or an adviser, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on the results.
1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing https://www.emicalculation.io (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Site.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which form part of this agreement.
2. What the Site provides
The Site offers free, browser-based calculators that estimate loan repayments, interest, amortisation schedules, investment growth, taxes, and related figures. It is an informational and educational tool.
The Site does not:
- Provide financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice
- Offer, broker, arrange, or recommend any credit product
- Constitute an offer, quotation, pre-approval, or commitment to lend
- Create any adviser–client, broker–client, or fiduciary relationship between us
3. Estimates, not quotes
All results are estimates produced from the values you enter using standard industry formulas. Actual figures from a lender will usually differ, because a real offer depends on your credit assessment, the lender's fee schedule, rounding and day-count conventions, insurance requirements, statutory charges, and local regulation.
Interest rates, tax bands, subsidy limits, and scheme rules referenced anywhere on the Site may be out of date. Always confirm current figures with the lender or the relevant authority.
4. Permitted use
You may use the Site for personal or internal business planning purposes. You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy the Site's content for republication
- Present our results as a lender's official quotation or approval
- Attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure
- Introduce malware, or use the Site to facilitate unlawful activity
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notice
5. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, code, and graphics are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The underlying mathematical formulas are standard financial mathematics and are not claimed as proprietary.
You may share links to any page freely. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. Wholesale reproduction of pages or bulk copying of the calculator library requires our written permission.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any calculator or the entire Site at any time, without notice and without liability. Calculators may be corrected or removed if we find an error.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party content, products, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all results are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, that results will be accurate or current, or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on any result — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You are solely responsible for financial decisions you make. Verify every figure with a qualified professional and with your lender before committing to anything.
[PLACEHOLDER] — liability cap
If you wish to state a maximum aggregate liability figure, insert it here. Note that consumer protection law in many jurisdictions limits how far liability can be excluded, and nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
[PLACEHOLDER] — jurisdiction
Specify the country and, if relevant, the state or province whose laws govern these terms, and the courts that have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. This should match where your business is legally established. Consumer law may still grant your visitors the protections of their own country regardless of what is stated here.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.

Not legal advice
These terms are a practical starting point written to match how this site actually operates. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have them checked against the law of your jurisdiction before relying on them.
